I am destination fine art wedding and portrait photographer based in the Pacific Northwest with a passion for travel and capturing the beautiful stories of people and places wherever I go. My background studying the piano and violin as well as training in ballet and modern dance has lead me to a romantic, timeless, and introspective style of photography.
I am honored to have been named one of "9 Awesome Photographers in Seattle" by Magnolia Rouge Magazine in 2016 and "20 Amazing Wedding Photographers to follow on Instagram" by Confetti Magazine in 2016 and 2017. I am a proud member of both the Magnolia Rouge Vendor Directory and Wedding Sparrow Fine Art Curation Vendor Guide.
I choose to shoot most of the wedding day on my medium format and 35 mm film cameras, switching to digital in low light situations and during receptions. Film photography has recently been making a comeback among many photographers, not only in the wedding industry, but also in the fashion industry. The images that come back from the lab are luminous and show off the true, vibrant colors of the day. As an artist, film photography is also an amazing way to push oneself in order to more intentionally compose a shot and focus on the individual image.

What My Clients Can Expect
Getting to Know You
I provide all my clients with a personalized consultation in order to go over wedding day details and package options. This is a great opportunity for us to start to get to know each other. I love to continue developing this relationship with my clients during the engagement or couple's session so that you become familiar and comfortable with my shooting pace and style. This also allows me the chance to learn the best way to capture the details, personalities, relationships, and moments that are unique to each of my clients.
In Front of the Camera
Because I shoot film in a fine art style, my process for shooting weddings and sessions is slower and more relaxed than people expect. This allows me to intentionally compose and capture each moment. I love to incorporate movement, capture my couples interacting naturally and let the sessions develop organically. This helps my clients to truly enjoy the experience and walk away with authentic, timeless images.
After the initial consultation, I work with you and your wedding planner to develop the wedding timeline to give you the best light for each moment of the day. Making time during the day for a few extra portrait sessions is one of my favorite ways to capture your bliss and excitement as a newly wedded couple. My goal for each wedding is to provide my clients with a relaxed and fun day of personalized photography coverage, culminating in a beautiful array of timeless, fine art images they will cherish forever.
I love the weight and feel of well-crafted, tangible works of art. There is raw, passionate artistry in the craftsmanship and timeless authenticity in the persistent state of something you can hold in your hand. This is one of the reasons why I love to shoot film and why all of my wedding packages include a handmade Make & Stow wood box filled with high quality prints. In addition to the box of prints, you will receive a flash drive with edited, full resolution images and an online gallery where you can view, download, and order additional prints. Beautiful, custom linen covered photo albums are a wonderful way to display and tell the story of your wedding day and are included in my top packages.
